SERVING DINNER

I had nothing against Bhindi
Until you told me you hated it,
Two years ago,
And suddenly I had a new enemy,
Freshly bought, waiting on the kitchen table

Tonight for dinner,
I invited him back,
Cut him and cooked him,
You will eat it now, wont you darling?
Uncomfortably,
The squishy and sticky bhindi
Tasteless, like your deceiving love,
Just the way you hate it.

Note: Bhindi- Ladies’ finger
